Pleasure Picnics

A new way to gather. A new way to connect. A new way to talk about pleasure.

Flower-drenched, joyfully unfiltered gatherings exploring topics previously off the table — sex, desire, confidence, connection, ageing, hormones, identity, motherhood, selfhood.

Connection is a ritual.

Forget small talk. These gatherings are about the big stuff — the juicy stuff — the stuff we’re told not to talk about.

Sex, desire, connection, confidence, hormones, ageing, motherhood, identity.

Nothing off limits. No awkwardness. No shame. No hushed whispers.

Pleasure Picnics are flower-drenched, joyfully unfiltered gatherings for women who want more. More honesty. More connection. More moments that feel real, not performative, not experienced through a screen.

We create intimate, sensory spaces — part picnic, part conversation, part creative ritual — where women come together to reconnect. To themselves. To each other. Because pleasure gets better when it’s shared.

Led by sexologists, doctors, therapists and experts who get it — and co-hosted by Margo’s, because conversations about pleasure should always come with beautiful flowers and a space that makes you feel uplifted and safe to share.

  • Because sex shops still feel awkward.

    Because women’s circles can feel a bit… same-same.

Because modern life disconnects us — from our bodies, our desires, each other, and sometimes even ourselves.

Pleasure Picnics are here to change that.

To normalise, to celebrate, to reconnect, and to remind you:

    >> Pleasure isn’t just sex.

    >> Connection isn’t just romantic.

    >> Desire doesn’t disappear with age.

    >> And you’re absolutely not alone.

  • Each intimate gathering explores a different theme — from confidence and sensuality to hormones, perimenopause, motherhood, ageing, selfhood and beyond.

    Here, you’ll find…

    >> Open, thought-provoking conversations

    >> Experts who speak with honesty and heart

    >> Hands-on rituals for self-connection

    >> Beautifully styled, intimate settings and fun, surprises

    >> Contributions and collaborations with local makers, artisans and creatives

    >> Flowers (obviously) and thoughtful take-home elements

Whether you’re ready to speak up and share your own experiences, or just want to listen and take it all in — you’re welcome exactly as you are. Either way, you’ll walk away feeling seen, sparked and supported.

  • Welcoming women of all ages, stages and seasons.

You want deeper connection — to yourself, to others, to life.

Whether you’re curious, disconnected, evolving, stuck, or simply seeking something more nourishing than another networking event.

If you’re looking for your people, you might just find them here.

  • Returning in Melbourne this spring 2025!

FAQs

What exactly is a Pleasure Picnic?

Think of it as part gathering, part conversation, part ritual. A small group of women, a beautifully styled space, expert guidance, and honest chats about sex, desire, connection, hormones, identity and everything in between. Plus flowers, of course.

Do I need to bring anything?

Nope. Just yourself, your curiosity, and an open mind. We take care of the flowers, the setting, the refreshments, and the conversation starters. You’re welcome to bring a friend or come alone, up to you.

Will I have to share personal stuff?

Only if you want to. You’re welcome to listen, observe, and soak it all up — or join the conversation. No pressure, no expectations.

How many people attend?

Intimate is key. We keep it to 25–30 people max so it feels conversational, comfortable, and genuinely connected — never overwhelming.

Are they only for women?

No! We welcome anyone who resonates with our vibe and mission for these events. Women, non-binary, gender diverse, brave men who are curious and respectful — all are welcome. That said, the tone, themes and conversations are led by and centred on the lived experiences of women and femmes. So if you’re here for it, come join us.

Age, stage, or sexual orientation doesn’t matter here either — whether you’re 22 or 62, queer, straight, questioning or somewhere in between — if you’re craving real talk and deeper connection, you’ll fit right in.

Are there refreshments?

Yes, it’s a picnic after all! Light refreshments will be provided — something beautiful and thoughtful to share as part of the experience.

What’s the vibe?

Warm. Playful. Respectful. Thoughtful. Beautifully styled. A little provocative. A lot honest. Absolutely no judgement, shame or taboo.
